HP C7000 BladeSystem Enclosures

Designed to handle larger environments such as dynamic, high performance computing (HPC) enterprise datacenters, HP C7000 BladeSystem blade enclosures feature a 10U form factor that supports up to 16 half-height or 8 full-height HP ProLiant or HP Integrity blade servers. Through providing the entire cooling, power and I/O infrastructure that the servers, storage components and interconnects require, the HP C7000 consolidates server, network, storage and power management into one chassis. In addition to providing consolidation for your network, the HP BladeSystem C7000 chassis also provides high versatility. For instance, the 8 interconnect bays of the C7000 feature support for the I/O fabric of your choice, as well as offering the option of redundant storage and network interconnects and various power input options including both AC and DC.

Due to their design, versatility, and performance-enhancing features, HP BladeSystem C7000 blade enclosures offer many advantages to enterprise environments. For example, the shared 5Tbps high-speed non-stop mid-plane of the HP C7000 blade enclosure provides server blades with wire-once connectivity to their network and shared storage. Furthermore, HP BladeSystem C7000 enclosures feature a pooled-power backplane to deliver power options, which include the new HP Single Phase AC intelligent power modules and HP Platinum power supplies. In addition to the various power options, the HP C7000 blade chassis features Intelligent Power Discovery for automatic mapping of server blades to their power source. In addition to power management, HP C7000 blade enclosures feature the HP Insight Control suite and a redundant Onboard Administrator for Local Area Network (LAN) and serial access.
