As a result, up to 8 HP ProLiant BL490c G7 servers can be housed in an HP C3000 blade enclosure and up to 16 can be housed in an HP C7000 blade enclosure. It’s amazing to see how many different components and technologies are integrated into the compact HP BL4990c G7 server blade. For instance, HP BL490c G7 blade servers offer an incredible 384GB of maximum low-wattage DDR3 memory capacity through 18 DIMM slots, as well as advanced memory features such as mirrored memory and advanced Error Correcting Code (ECC). In addition to its memory features, HP BL490 G7 servers also offer robust I/O bandwidth with up to 2 I/O mezzanine expansion slots and a dual-port 10 Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) FlexFabric adapter.

Other advantageous features and technologies that HP ProLiant BL490c G7 servers offer include comprehensive management tools, advanced virtualization capabilities and more.
