These processors are able to provide IBM HS22 servers with an increased processor performance, decreased system power requirements, and a larger cache size, resulting in a high transaction processing speed. They even allow BladeCenter HS22 servers to have a faster rate of execution for concurrent multimedia services. Additionally, HS22 blade servers integrate advanced RAID-0, -1 and -1E capabilities, which enables a higher level of system availability as well as increased data protection.

Equipped with up to 192 Gigabytes (GB) of energy-efficient Double Data Rate 3 (DDR3) memory, IBM BladeCenter HS22 servers offer further energy efficiency with a choice of either 1.5 V memory or 1.35 V memory, which is much more power efficient.
