Not only does the Sun SPARC T2000 server offer amazing technologies, but it comes equipped with some pretty spectacular features and components as well. One example of a great T2000 server feature is that can be equipped with a 2, 4 or 8 core ULTRASPARC T1 processor. The ULTRASPARC T1 processor not only offers exceptional processing speed and power, but it actually works to reduce heat dissipation and power consumption for eco-friendliness as well as wallet-friendliness with reduced total operating expenses. Other features of Sun T2000 servers that offers some unique and exceptional advantages include their Sun 4v architecture, large page optimization, support for both PCI-Express (PCIe) and PCI-eXtended (PCI-X), and improved block copy. Additionally, the Sun SPARC T2000 rack servers are configured with up to 16 Dual Inline Memory Module (DIMM) slots – which can provide up to 64 Gigabytes (GB) of memory – as well as 4 1.1 USB ports and 4 10/100/1000 Megabits per second (Mbps) auto-negotiating Ethernet ports.
