Equipped with 12 internal data drives, the Dell PowerVault NX3100 offers a high memory storage capacity of up to 24 Terabytes (TB) internally, and the ability to expand externally to a total capacity of 384 TB by means of Dell external storage arrays such as PowerVault, EqualLogic and EMC. Designed in a 2U chassis, the NX3100 can be configured with up to 2 Intel Xeon processors and features high availability through multiple hot plug components including hard drives, redundant power and redundant cooling. While the Dell NX3100 is densely packed with the latest technologies, it isn’t complicated and is actually very easy to use and manage. One way in which it is easy to use is in its initial set-up. The NX3100 features an automated initial set-up and configuration wizard that requires minimum user interaction.
